Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    You must present a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.25 in all transferable college credits.
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school transcripts required of some applicants. Transcripts from previously attend college(s) is required by all applicants.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores are not required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Statement of good standing from prior institution(s) is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    Complete the undergraduate application and return it with a $30 (US) nonrefundable application fee, payable to Barry University. You may also apply online at www.barry.edu/apply for a fee of $20 (US)

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a C or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Minimum of 12 credits completed or else must apply as an entering freshman. Max number of credits/courses that may be transferred from a 2-year institution is 64. Max number of credits/courses that may be transferred from a 4-year institution is 90.
