Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Request an official transcript from all colleges or universities that you have previously attended. Students may either bring the official transcript to their closest campus or have their college/university mail it directly to LSCS.
  • SAT Scores:
    Unless you meet certain exemptions, you will need to submit placement test scores such as ACT, SAT, TAKS, THEA, ASSET, ACCUPLACER, or COMPASS scores. If you do not have placement tests, you may be required to complete assessment testing.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Equivalent college course credits earned at other regionally accredited institutions may apply to degrees awarded by LSCS if at least a grade of “D” was earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must earn 18 hours of credit at LSCS to receive your associate degree.
